Hindu Samaj Temple and Cultural Center (HISTEMPLEMN) has been supporting the growing Religious and Cultural needs of the community in Rochester, Minnesota. Formally, registered as a non-profit organization in the year 2000, it has grown significantly in terms of members, patrons and financially just in a span of 4 years. The purchase of the Temple at 911, 11th Av NW in the year 2004 marked a turning point in the history of the Hindu Samaj Temple of Minnesota Inc, Rochester, Minnesota.
 

  All Members, Patrons, Board of Directors and the Executive committee have done a tremendous job of getting this institution to where it is today. We definitely have come a long way, but the path to continuous improvement and serving is definitely long and never ending. Various committees have been constituted, who have started their work by first having documented processes so the dependency on the governance is based on processes. Transparency and fairness in all our dealings is the underlying principle.
